I was born in Austria and I’ve lived in Prague for nearly 20 years. In my career I’ve taken various roles in the financial sector, including at a client relationship office, as a loan underwriter, and as a financial analyst. Most recently, I focused on the areas of personal development and management skills, particularly coaching and mentoring.
Travel and intercultural exchange is a longstanding interest of mine, dating from my student days, when I lived in North Carolina (US) for a year as an exchange student. I love traveling, learning new languages, and meeting people from various cultures and backgrounds. In my spare time I also enjoy cooking for friends and family, practicing yoga, biking, skiing, exploring the outdoors and reading.
I am passionate about seeing my clients grow and develop. I love when clients get that burst of energy that comes from finally being on the right track.
In my coaching and mentoring experiences, clients step out of their comfort zones and become more grounded and more self-confident.
Some of my clients work on advancing their careers, leveling up from domestic to international departments within their companies. They seek ways to support themselves in new management roles or when they shoulder a wider scope of work. Others want to change their own attitudes to better face external pressures in the workplace. Still others are dealing with the cultural changes that result from integrating in a new department, new company or even in a new foreign country. Clients who are women seeking career mentoring define ways to better assert and present themselves in the workplace.
I take a solution-based approach when working with clients. Using the techniques and skills that I have honed during my training with the International Coach Federation as well as my experience and intuition stemming from over 25 years in the financial sector, I confidently work with clients from a range of backgrounds on the diverse challenges they face.
When clients begin to trust themselves and take the wheels in their own lives, it’s extremely rewarding. The best feeling a coach or mentor can have is when a client smiles, knowing she or he has reached a goal.
Sessions are conducted in either English or German. If you prefer a Czech session, please contact me to discuss your needs.
